GINGER SOY SALMON

鮭の生姜醤油焼き

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp DOJO soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mirin or honey
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp neutral oil
  • Sliced scallion and sesame seeds to finish

METHOD

  1. Stir together the soy sauce, mirin, and ginger. Coat the salmon and rest 10 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil in a nonstick pan over medium-high. Lay the salmon skin side down and cook 4 minutes, spooning over the marinade.
  3. Flip, cook 2 to 3 minutes more until just opaque, then pour in any remaining marinade and let it bubble into a glaze.
  4. Top with scallion and sesame. Serve with rice.
